#NYFW | NANA JUDY SS19
"ALIVE"- "To be 'alive', is to grow and evolve through time. Inspired by youth- culture, art and music, it is unafraid, unending and unlike anything before."
Australian global brand, NANA JUDY made their American debut at Spring Studios on NYFW's opening day. Known for their timeless designs and premium streetwear, the "Alive" collection was a new age minimalist dream. Repetitive patterns, punk rocker vibes and a splash of quirkiness, found in their 101 Dalmatians preview, adorned the runway. All black everything. Androgyne. Silver chains. The works.
Fun Fact: NANA JUDY was named after the beloved pet of the Head Designer, Glenn Coleman's great grandmother. A Dalmation. Coleman defines the brand as such: NANA stands for loyalty and legacy, JUDY stands for the unique and rare characteristics that make up the likes of a Dalmatian’s spots. This Disney collaboration is a designer's dream come true.
