NYFW SS24 Street Style | L'AGENCE & Coach

The calm at L’AGENCE and the chaos at Coach.

For the eve of New York Fashion Week Spring/Summer 24, the sun was blazing, denim continued to control the room, and leather stuck to attendees like glue.

The L’AGENCE presentation brought out a crowd of elevated style devoted to champagne pearls and statement Chanel’s. While at Coach, a dark leather ensemble with a fun coachmogi-shaped handbag adorned with their signature embossed logo on patent leather was the uniform of choice.

I am a lover of all things things, Coach, but this season may be my exception. Changing the scenery from their usual Park Armory location to the side entrance of the New York Public Library not only increased the sidewalk square footage but added the chaos that the fan clubs bring times 10.

Who is letting them know who will be at the show is beyond me, but it doesn’t matter. Thanks to the sea of paparazzi, autographs, and a security team that could get the sidewalk under control, I couldn’t tell you what most attendees were wearing because security had to herd the crowd with newly added barricades every 5 minutes.

Next time, my friends, let’s put two rows of barricades up so that bystanders can walk through the middle. That way, everything is under control.

Happy FashioN month eve.
