The future of fashion is not dependent on those in power but those POC culture liaisons, fashionistas and innovators.

The air of fashion week has been ever-changing but where there is smoke and fire, there is a possibility for renewal and growth. While the “big” shows and attendees continue to “give us nothing,” in their monochromatic, pay-for-play wardrobes, some fashion hopefuls and innovators are still dressing, curating, and giving us something to talk about.

There needs to be more celebration in these spaces. These are the people who deserve the big bucks. Trends die but personal style is forever.
